Originally called the Chemical Building, Pickard Hall (1892) has been placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Pickard Hall is named after John Pickard (1858-1937), Professor of Greek and first chairman of the Department of Classical Archaeology and History of Art, 1892-1935.
