Lecture Capture

Selected centrally-scheduled classrooms are being used for lecture capture with the Tegrity Lecture Capture System during the Fall 2009 Semester. Since this is a new venture and support demands are not fully known, faculty members need to opt into using it by sending an E-mail message to blackboard@missouri.edu.

Specific rooms being used for lecture capture this semester are:
Tip A wireless receiver has been placed in these rooms for use by instructors who are capturing their lecture using Tegrity. A cable comes out of the back of the wireless receiver and is labeled Line IN–Recording or Recording Line Into Computer. The cable goes into the computer being used for Tegrity recording. A second and somewhat similar cable is each room, but it is an "audio out" cable so sound from someone's laptop or other device can be heard in the room.

If a room is used that is not fitted for sound, arrangements can be made to use a USB wireless microphone for the recording by contacting tegrity@missouri.edu.
