The Academic Support Center hosts a collection of 9,000 video and DVD programs, and 5,000 films, available for short-term rental.

• Web-based Catalog Search - Our complete catalog searchable by keyword, subject heading, or series heading, along with descriptions of each title. (Updated weekly.)
• Subject Areas - List of 468 within which titles are categorized.
• Preview facilities for faculty members who wish to review materials at no charge for possible use.

Ordering and Charges

Programs are available on a rental basis to any responsible school, individual, or organization throughout the contiguous 48 United States unless specific use restrictions have been placed on the program by the copyright holder. Selecting one of the links below will provide general information about ordering and charges based on the category of use which applies to your circumstances:

• University of Missouri departments in Columbia with a MoCode & PeopleSoft® Account

  The program will be used as part of a University-sponsored program and the fiscal officer from a University of Missouri department with a Columbia address will authorize rental charges by providing a MoCode & PeopleSoft Account.

• University of Missouri departments in Kansas City, Rolla, or St. Louis with a MoCode & PeopleSoft Account

  The program will be used as part of a University-sponsored program by a UMKC, UMR, or UMSL faculty or staff member, and a fiscal officer will authorize rental charges by providing a MoCode & PeopleSoft Account.

• University of Missouri Extension Centers

  The program will be used by a University Extension Center as part of an Extension program and rental charges will be paid by the Office of the Vice President, University Outreach.

• University of Missouri individuals and students without an authorized MoCode & PeopleSoft Account

  The program will be used by a faculty member, staff member, or student and an authorized MoCode & PeopleSoft Account will not be provided.

• Individuals, organizations, and institutions not affiliated with the University of Missouri

  The program will be used by an individual, organization, or institution that does meet the criteria for any of the above four categories.

Suggestions for Acquisition

University of Missouri faculty members are encouraged to suggest materials for possible acquisition by sending information (program title, distributor, purchase price, and anticipated utilization) to:
