A collection of 9,000 video and DVD
programs, and 5,000 films are available for short-term rental. Other services include:
- Web-based Catalog Search - Our complete catalog
searchable by keyword, subject heading, or series heading, along with descriptions of each title. (Updated weekly.)
- List of 1,828 titles by director
with
links to descriptions. (Last updated October 1, 2011.) Or, check out only
the
Academy AwardŽ winners, titles in the
National Film Registry, or
titles selected by AFI as the 100 Greatest Movies.
- List of 468 subject areas within which
titles are categorized. (Updated weekly.)
- Web page alphabetic lists of recent acquisitions - titles added to the collection in the
past month, in the
past three months, in the
past six months, and in the
past twelve months. (Updated weekly.)
- Preview facilities for faculty members who wish to review materials at no charge for possible use.
- A reserve library of video programs from multi-campus credit courses for student review within one week of
the class taping.
- Assistance in locating rental sources for non-theatrical programs.
- Searches and generation of specialized lists of programs in the media collection based on criteria provided
by faculty members.
